Beit Hashoah – Museum of Tolerance
About: The Museum of Tolerance, a $50 million world class educational center, founded to challenge visitors to confront bigotry and racism and to understand the Holocaust in both historic and contemporary contexts, opened to international press coverage with the assistance of TGPR’s public relations expertise.
Assignment: Our main goal was to bring international visibility to the Museum vis-à-vis a comprehensive media campaign, press tours, dedication of the theater and memorial plaza and in-depth press stories or reviews.
Key Accomplishments: TGPR tracked a direct relationship between media coverage and attendance at the Museum. Stories appeared in the media throughout the world, including Time magazine, US News & World Report, all major daily papers in Southern California as well as the New York Times and major television and news stations throughout the country and the world. Features and reviews totaling 250 million impressions were secured.
