FIKIsportsAbout: FIKI (Flick It Kick It) Sports was founded in 2000 with the concept of creating an enhanced version of the game that had simply been known as tabletop, paper or triangle football. A triangle “football” including genuine leather, a pro-style pebble surface and laces yet still retained the size and design of the original game. A goalpost was added to eliminate the need for an opponent’s fingers. FIKI has secured professional and collegiate team licenses for its products.
Assignment: Reintroduce FIKI’s flagship product, even though not “new to market,” and secure coverage in print media across the country.
Key accomplishments: Over 6,000,000 impressions including AAA Magazine, ESPN Insider/ESPN.com, ESPN 2’s Cold Pizza, Hooters Magazine, NY Daily News, Playthings, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Sporting News, Washington Post, Winston-Salem Journal, Indy’s Child, Los Angeles Family, Newsday and Pro Football Weekly.
