Nickelodeon’s Fresh Beat Band

We love our Fresh Beats from Nickelodeon! We just announced their first ever primetime concert special running Sunday, April 21st (on Nickelodeon). If that’s not enough news – the Beats have announced a new 60 show national tour! Check out all the details at: www.freshbeatbandlive.com

Fresh Beat Band Tour Resumes August 23

The Fresh Beat Band returns to the road August 23 and TGPR will be handling tour publicity for the gazillion city tour around the US. American Way, the official in-flight magazine for American Airlines and American Eagle spoke with Thomas and Tara recently in this article that kicks off with a great lead…

They shout it out, just like rock stars, and your kids think they’re the cat’s pajamas.

Meow.

Can you believe FBB is one of the most watched kids program on television? Nickelodeon has a winner…though we’re still crossing our fingers for the return of Marc Summers and Double Dare.

Look for FBB in your city soon!

Three TGPR Clients Land Spots in Pollstar’s Top 30

We are so happy (and proud!) to see three of our clients’ shows listed in the top 30 of Pollstar’s recent “Concert Pulse” (June 2012):

At #26 (average gross – $117,280) — the first leg of Shatner’s World: We Just Live In It (www.shatnersworld.com) recently wrapped after a successful Broadway run earlier this year.  More dates for Shatner’s World will be coming soon…our team was able to check out the show at the Pantages in L.A. and we all enjoyed it mucho!

At #27 (average gross – $107,547) - our longest running client Lord of the Dance (www.lordofthedance.com) is on the chart again — after 16+ years touring North America! The show features a number of updates including LED wall, costumes and the dance crew is as strong as ever. Every time the show comes through LA we love checking out a performance.

At #30 (average gross – $101,277), and the newest phenomenon for kids – The Fresh Beat Band (www.freshbeatbandlive.com) this years biggest family show on the road. More tour dates have been added, resuming in July 2012.

Congrats to all those involved with the shows!

Fresh Beat Band – Hottest Tickets in the Country

Backstage with Nickelodeon's The Fresh Beat Band, Twist (yellow emblem, Jon Beavers), Foo Fighter's Dave Grohl, Kiki (in Pink, Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer), Marina (in Blue, Tara Perry), and Shout (in orange, Thomas Hobson), at Club Nokia, Los Angeles, February 19, 2012 in Los Angeles, California. Here at TGPR – we are huge Foo Fighters fans (I’m also a professional drummer who studied Grohl’s playing obsessively) – and so are the members of the Fresh Beat Band (our client). The Fresh Beat Band are on a sold out 60-city tour across the U.S. Let me say that again – 60 sold out cities.

Turns out Dave Grohl isn’t the only one excited to see the FBB. A writer for The Daily Beast recently wrote about how it was harder for her to get Fresh Beat Band tickets than for rock superstars Radiohead!

With our phone ringing off the hook for ticket requests, we aren’t surprised!

Nickelodeon’s Fresh Beat Band on Tour

We are excited about our new client, Nickelodeon’s Fresh Beat Band. The group is headed out on a 50 city tour beginning February 2012. These kids just performed at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and at Carnegie Hall with Jason Mraz. They are already adding shows due to sellouts!
