About: Nickelodeon’s stage presentation for preschoolers that revolutionized kids’ theater. The stage show was based on Nickelodeon’s hit preschool series Blue’s Clues. The 90-minute production included a stage snowstorm and a flight through a solar system of singing planets.
Assignment: TGPR’s main goal was to generate ticket sales via press coverage. In each market, TGPR staff contacted a targeted list of national and local print media, including arts and entertainment editors, theater feature writers and critics, family section editors, writers, TV writers, kid reviewers and many more throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Key Accomplishments: In a majority of the markets, Blue’s Clues Live! was at 90-percent capacity or sold out. TGPR coordinated features and reviews totaling nearly 250 million impressions. Coverage highlights included NY-1, Good Day New York, KTLA Morning News (Los Angeles), USA Today, New York Times, NY Post, LA Times, SF Chronicle, Dallas Morning News, Chicago Tribune and Miami Herald.
