Since 2000, TGPR has expanded its entertainment division to specialize in live shows and touring productions that collectively visit an average of 300 markets per year.

As the executive in charge of entertainment, John Tellem has rocked the competition signing notable brands and producers including Nitro Circus, Broadway Across America, Nickelodeon, Live Nation, AVP, Innovation Arts and Entertainment, Blue Man Group, MagicSpace Entertainment, Red Light Entertainment and Koba Entertainment.

TGPR works with these companies to develop PR campaigns and generate publicity for blockbuster shows and tours including Nickelodeon’s Fresh Beat Band which is breaking records and selling out shows across the United States, and the international action sports phenomenon Nitro Circus Live, returning to North America in 2015. The world’s best-selling touring magic show The Illusionists – Witness the Impossible hits the road for a 30-city tour following its debut on Broadway. TGPR also promotes two leaders and iconic television personalities in the food space – Anthony Bourdain (his Guts and Glory tour) and Alton Brown (his Alton Brown Live! The Edible Inevitable Tour returns to visit 46 cities through March 2015). We are also proud to represent a number of entertainment icons; icon doesn’t begin to describe legend William Shatner and his one man show Shatner’s World: We Just Live In It nor Irish Dance superstar Michael Flatley, whose Lord of the Dance toured North America for 14 years. Don’t forget Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson, the host of Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, best-selling author, and the Director of the Hayden Planetarium, who will conduct a U.S. speaking tour in January 2015.

TGPR’s family touring division promotes some of the strongest and most popular brands and properties in children’s entertainment that bring breakthrough, interactive experiences to life with the goal of introducing young children to the magic of stage and theatre, including Nickelodeon’s The Fresh Beat Band; Dora the Explorer Live; Go, Diego, Go Live; Storytime Live;and Blue’s Clues Live. This holiday season, Rudolph celebrates the 50th anniversary of CBS’ animated television classic, soaring from screen to stage for his first national tour, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical. We’ve also worked on national tours for Mattel – Barbie Live in Fairytopia; Warner Bros. – Scooby-Doo in Stagefright; Dreamworks Theatricals – Madagascar Live; and HIT Entertainment’s Bob the Builder Live. Canada’s Koba Entertainment works with TGPR on a variety of its tours including Dora the Explorer, Strawberry Shortcake and Mike the Knight.
