Tellem has served as an adjunct professor of communications at Pepperdine University and was an extension instructor in media relations at UCLA for 11 years. She has authored many papers and articles on media relations and is known for her skills in crisis management. She has been responsible for providing executives with the tools needed to face both general and ambush types of interviews. Clients have participated in hundreds of successful interviews on local, regional and national television, radio talk show and news programs as well as features and briefs in magazines and newspapers.
